Thing2I

Consider the ways in which Web 2.0 tools might change (or have already changed) your professional practice. I really could not imagine using some of these tools in my classroom until I talked to a former student. She came to visit me in my classroom and told me how cool her English class was because she was able to make a power point assessment and send it to her teacher. The teacher then graded the power point for content, sent it back for revisions, and then the final product was submitted. How might you be able to use these new tools to to engage today's "digital learners?
Why would you want to?

21st Century Team

Today is the first day of the team. I am still a little nervous, but I haven't given up and I am planning on trying very hard to make this work. We created a blog, a reader, and we have learned to network. My motto at this point is, "You can teach an old dog new tricks, but the old dog may take a little longer to learn the new tricks!"
